1.2 U-Track is deployed for official railway infrastructure monitoring projects including railway track laying, fiber optic cable installation, electrical junction execution, and related works.
1.3 Geo-tagging is a mandatory operational feature of the platform and is required to ensure transparency, accountability, and real-time verification of railway project activities.
1.4 This policy applies to all registered vendors, contractors, supervisors, railway officials, and authorized users accessing U-Track.
2. Purpose of Geo-Tagging
2.1 Geo-tagging ensures accurate recording of project execution locations.
2.2 It validates railway track progress through GPS-based mapping.
2.3 It prevents false reporting of work completion.
2.4 It supports KM-wise infrastructure monitoring.
2.5 It enables railway authorities to view real-time project alignment and execution zones.
3. Geo-Location Data Collected
3.1 Latitude and Longitude coordinates captured via device GPS.

4. Mandatory GPS Requirement
