1. Introduction
1.1 This Authorization Policy defines the access control and user authorization framework governing the U-Track Application and Web Portal.
1.2 U-Track is a railway infrastructure monitoring platform used for geo-tagging, project supervision, track laying validation, fiber cable tracking, and electrical installation monitoring.
1.3 Access to U-Track is strictly limited to authorized users engaged in officially approved railway projects.
1.4 This policy ensures that only verified vendor personnel and railway officials can access project-specific data.
2. User Categories
2.1 Super Administrator – System-level administrative control.
2.2 Project Administrator – Project-specific management authority.
2.3 Railway Authority – Supervisory and monitoring access.
2.4 Vendor Project Manager – Oversight of vendor team activities.
2.5 Field Engineer / Contractor – Geo-tag submission and execution reporting access.
Each user category is assigned predefined permissions based on project requirements.
3. Account Creation & Approval
3.1 User accounts are created only after official project verification.
3.2 Vendor accounts must be approved by designated project administrators.
3.3 Each account is linked to a specific railway project.
3.4 Anonymous or self-registration is not permitted.
3.5 Account activation may require identity verification and role confirmation.
4. Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
4.1 Access to system features is controlled through Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
4.2 Users can only view, edit, or submit data related to assigned projects.

10.4 Passwords must meet minimum security complexity standards.
11. Compliance
11.1 Authorization procedures comply with applicable Indian laws and railway regulations.
11.2 The company reserves the right to strengthen authorization controls when required.
11.3 Users agree to abide by all access control policies upon account activation.
