1. Introduction
1.1 This User Manual provides operational guidance for authorized users of the U-Track Application and Web Portal.
1.2 U-Track is designed for railway infrastructure monitoring including railway track laying, fiber cable installation, electrical junction implementation, and geo-tag-based supervision.
1.3 This manual applies to vendors, field engineers, project managers, railway supervisors, and administrative users.
1.4 The purpose of this manual is to ensure proper system usage, compliance, and accurate project reporting.
2. Accessing the System
2.1 Login using registered mobile/email and password or OTP.
2.2 Select assigned project from dashboard.
2.3 Ensure GPS and internet connectivity are enabled.
2.4 Offline mode is available in low network areas.
3. Vendor / Field Engineer Workflow
3.1 Open assigned railway project.
3.2 Navigate to “Add Geo-Tag” section.
3.3 Capture site photograph from actual location.
3.4 Ensure automatic GPS coordinates are recorded.
3.5 Enter KM number and work description.
3.6 Select work type (Track Laying / Fiber / Electrical).
3.7 Submit geo-tag for approval.
3.8 Monitor submission status in dashboard.
4. Manager / Railway Authority Workflow
4.1 View project dashboard summary.
4.2 Monitor live geo-tag map view.
4.3 Review pending geo-tags.
4.4 Approve or reject submissions.
4.5 Generate progress reports.
4.6 Track vendor performance and compliance.
5. Map Monitoring System
5.1 Access satellite map view from dashboard.
5.2 Filter by project, date, vendor, or KM number.
5.3 View color-coded geo-tag markers.
5.4 Tap marker to view details and attached photos.
5.5 Use search bar for smart location-based search.
6. Report Generation
6.1 Navigate to Reports section.
6.2 Select report type (Daily / KM-wise / Project Summary).
6.3 Export report in PDF format.
6.4 Share report with railway authorities if required.
7. Data Sync & Offline Mode
7.1 In low connectivity areas, data may be saved offline.
7.2 Offline data will sync automatically once internet is available.
7.3 Sync status is visible in the dashboard.
7.4 Users must verify successful upload of geo-tags.
8. Security & Compliance Guidelines
8.1 Do not share login credentials.
8.2 Avoid using mock GPS applications.
8.3 Submit only accurate and verified data.
8.4 Report suspicious activity immediately.
